Specialists on one of the language families in the DOBES archive are well-equipped to work with the data collected here. As Langage Documentation data is never a set of completely analyzed and annotated data but rather a work in progress, it can be very useful to have some prior knowledge of the language structures to be expected.
It makes sense to first browse the subarchive and perform exploratory searches and then to register and get access to the material. The project pages provide more detailed background information that may be useful as well.
All users will be very welcome to contribute to the analysis of the data in the archive and are encouraged to submit their work.
