Stephen C. Levinson (Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics, Nijmegen) is head and applicant of the project.

  Rik van Gijn (Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics, Nijmegen) is the coordinator of the project in the Netherlands. He is the main responsible for issues concerning the archiving of the language material and the database, and he participates in the collection and processing of the data. Apart from that, Rik is the scientific head of the linguistic part of the project.

  Vincent Hirtzel (Laboratoire d’Anthropologie Sociale, Collège de France, Paris) is the coordinator of the project in Bolivia.  Apart from his work as field researcher, Vincent is the main responsible for the contacts with the indigenous organizations, and for the coordination of the work of Jeremías, our Bolivian collaborator, He is also the scientific head of the anthropological part of the project.

 

  Sonja Gipper (Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics, Nijmegen) is working as a PhD student in the project. Her dissertation focuses on the epistemic and evidential system of the Yurakaré language. She participates in the collection and processing of data.

  Jeremías Ballivián Torrico is a native speaker of Yurakaré and full-time employed by the project. He is working in Bolivia on the transcriptions and translations of the field data, and he is responsible for many important contacts with the local indigenous organizations.
